Your phone's files, finally under control.
File Manager browses, organises and cleans up the storage in front of you — and shows you exactly what is eating your space. There is no account to create, and your files never leave your device.
No account. No uploads. No tracking you can't switch off.
Files stay on your device
Browsing, cleaning, duplicate detection and search all run on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no NavoBytes server holding your files.
Clean up to 30 items a day, free
A concrete free allowance instead of a vague promise. Premium removes the daily limit and the ads.
No cable needed
Send files phone-to-phone over Wi-Fi Direct, or open your phone's storage in a browser on your computer.
Everything you actually do with a file manager
Six everyday jobs, one app. Each of these is a working feature, not a bullet point on a roadmap.
Browse and organise
Copy, move, rename, zip and unzip in a clean two-pane browser. Search finds any file by name in seconds.
Storage Analyzer
See what is taking room, broken down by type and by size, so you know what to delete before you delete it.
Cleaners that explain themselves
Duplicate Finder collapses repeated photos and files. Corpse Finder clears what uninstalled apps left behind. System Clean removes caches, logs and empty folders.
Big File Finder
The few large files that usually account for most of your used space, listed so you can deal with them first.
Safe Vault and app lock
Move private files into the app's private storage, reachable only through your PIN. App Lock asks for that PIN when the app returns to the foreground.
Your clouds, one place
Connect Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive and move files between them and your phone — only when you connect them yourself.
Move files without a cable
Three ways to get files on and off the phone, all started by you and all on your own network.
- Wi-Fi Direct transfer — send files straight to another phone. No router, no mobile data, no account.
- Browser access over Wi-Fi — open an address on your computer and see your phone's storage in a web page.
- FTP server — for tools that still speak FTP, run a server on the phone and point the tool at it.
These servers are not running unless you start them, and they only serve what you choose.
Also inside
- Recycle bin — restore files you deleted in this app by mistake.
- Text editor and PDF viewer — open a file without leaving the app.
- App manager — uninstall apps and install APK files.
- Scheduled cleanup — let a cleanup run on its own.
- Optional root and ADB (Shizuku) modes — deeper cleaning for power users. The app works fine without them.
We would rather tell you what we don't do
Most privacy pages are long because the product is complicated. Ours is short because the app is local: it works on the storage in front of you.
- Your files are never uploaded to us. There is no NavoBytes backend for your documents.
- No location collection. The app declares location permissions only because Wi-Fi Direct device discovery requires them on older Android versions. It never calls a location API and never reads your Wi-Fi network name.
- Analytics are off until you say yes. If you decline the consent prompt, no usage events are collected from your device.
- Ads, honestly declared. The app is funded by advertising through Google AdMob, which uses your advertising ID. You can reset or delete that ID in Android settings.
Data that leaves your device
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID | To show and measure ads (Google AdMob) |
| Usage events | To see which features are used — only after you consent |
| Crash reports | Stack trace and device model, so crashes get fixed |
| Cloud account details | Only if you connect Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive yourself |
No file contents, file names, folder names or locations — ever.

Questions worth answering twice
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Browsing, cleaning, duplicate detection, storage analysis, compression and search all run on your device. The only data that leaves the phone is the list above: advertising ID, consent-gated analytics, crash reports, and cloud account details if you connect a cloud service yourself.
Is the Safe Vault encrypted?
No — and we would rather say so. The vault moves files into the app's private storage, where other apps and ordinary file managers cannot reach them, and the entry is protected by your PIN. That is protection from casual access, not encryption. Keep a separate copy of anything irreplaceable.
Does it sync my cloud accounts?
It browses and transfers: you can list, upload, download, move and delete files in Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive. It is not a background two-way sync, so nothing changes in your cloud unless you ask for it.
Can it recover files I deleted by accident?
Only files deleted inside this app are recoverable, from its own recycle bin. File Manager is not a data-recovery tool and cannot undelete files removed by other apps or by the system.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Connecting a cloud service requires signing in with that provider, but the app itself has no NavoBytes account and no login screen.
How do I cancel Premium?
Subscriptions are managed by Google Play: open the Play Store, go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and cancel. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
